To make the EDEN grid as easy to use as possible for a wide variety of researchers and analysts, the EDEN grid has been created in 3 different formats1: Microsoft ACCESS Geodatabase, ARC/INFO coverage, and ARC/INFO shapefile. Because of the grid's resolution, area of coverage, and extensive attribute information, these files can easily reach sizes of over 60 megabytes in compressed form.
