Location of the sampling stations for the Mercury cycling in the Everglades project from March 1995 through June 1996. The satellite image shows the effects of phosphorous-rich water draining from the EAA into the L-39 canal, and then into WCA2, where cattails (green area emerging from the canal) are replacing sawgrass as the dominant vegetation.
