This First National Conference on Ecosystem Restoration (NCER) was held December 6-10, 2004 in Orlando, Florida at the Wyndham Palace. It enabled national and international information exchange on many issues involved in landscape-scale ecosystem restoration. Fellow scientists, educators, and restoration planners, managers and decision-makers met to discuss similarities and differences and successes and failures of ecosystem restoration programs throughout the country.
